Thomas Marsh

Born September 13, 1945 in Cadillac, MI, passed away suddenly March 8, 2014 in Elgin. Tom graduated from Rogers High School in Grand Rapids, MI in1964, and served in the U.S. Air Force for over 22 years. Tom obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in February of 1994. He was an avionics electrician at Northrop Grumman for twenty years, retiring in January 2013. Tom is survived by his wife of 45 years, Bonnie Lee (Duley), children; Jerry (Kimberly) Marsh of McHenry, IL, Gidget Marie Marsh of Elgin, IL, and James (Nicole) Marsh of Wasilla, Alaska, grandchildren; Cayla Marie Marsh of California, Lisa Marie Allaway of Kalamazoo, MI, Riley Marsh of Wasilla, Alaska, Christopher Warner of Kalamazoo, MI, and Breanna Lee Warner of Kalamazoo, MI, great grandchildren; Owen and Damian and step-brother Steve Anderson of Cadillac, MI. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and numerous dear friends in Cadillac, Michigan, Anchorage and Wasilla, Alaska, and throughout Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents Warren and Marguerite Marsh and his two sisters, Maria McKlinchey and Cynthia Marsh. Memorial donations in Tom’s name may be made to the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society, or the Veterans Association. In accordance with Tom’s wishes, no services were held.
