Thomas Scarnato

Barrington, Illinois,Thomas J. Scarnato, 85, of Barrington, mass will be held at 10:30am, Monday, November 16, 2009 at St Anne Catholic Church in Barrington (120 Ela St; corner of Ela and Franklin Sts.) Visitation will precede the Mass, from 9:30-10:30am. Father Fred will officiate. Born December 2, 1923 in Chicago to Joseph and Emilia (Fiorito) Scarnato, he entered eternal life November 11, 2009. Entombment will be at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines. Visitation will be held at Davenport Family Funeral Home in Barrington on Sunday, November 15, 2009 from 3-7pm. Tom married his wife, Doris (nee Meisenheimer) He worked as a mechanical engineer at International Harvester for almost 40 years and retired in 1982. He enjoyed golfing, travelling and spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was proud of his accomplishment of over 50 patent designs. Survivors include his three children, Sue (Craig) Anderson; Karen (Ronald) Falese and William (Sandra); four grandchildren, Cynthia (Michael) Scariano, Alicia (Kevin) Cibula, Michael and Marisa Scarnato; and two great-grandchildren, Madison and Morgan Scariano. He is preceded in death by his wife, and parents and siblings Andrew and Louis Scarnato, Ida Cione and Emma Infusino. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer?s Association, 225 N.
