Thomas "Tom" E. Marcotte

Thomas “Tom” E. Marcotte, 75, of St. Charles, formerly of Niles, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2017 in Geneva. He was born on September 17, 1942 in Chicago.
Tom was a 1973 graduate of the first paramedic program in the state of Illinois. He proudly served on the Niles Fire Department for 32 years until his retirement in 2001. Tom also enjoyed spending time with his family.
Tom will be deeply missed by his loving children, Tom (Heidi) Marcotte and Melanie (Adam) Fencl; grandchildren, Carleigh, Tommy and Dillon Marcotte and John Fencl; brother James Marcotte. He was preceded in death by his brother Richard.
Memorial visitation will be Wednesday, October 25, from 3 PM until the Celebration of Tom’s Life at 7 PM at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 149 W. Main Street (Lake-Cook Rd) Barrington, IL 60010. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
