Tina Snow-Willis,66, died December 23, 2012 with her husband and sons at her side at her residence in Trout Valley, IL.The visitation for Tina Snow-Willis will be held from 3-8PM on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Davenport Family Funeral Home in Barrington, IL.Tina was born on August 9, 1946 in Seoul, Korea to Kijoo and TaeSoon Han.She moved to the United States at the age of 21, where she first resided in St. Paul, MN.Shortly after, she moved to Trout Valley in the area of Cary, IL.Tina started her business in 1985, starting out as The Framer's Shop in Hoffman Estates where she started her career in the art business and developed her talent for designing frames to suit a broad range of styles.She expanded her business to offer fine artwork, building relationships with numerous local and world-renowned artists and gallery owners.The Tina Han Gallery was created with her move to the Ice House Mall in Barrington, IL, where she continued to foster her lasting relationships with many clients and artists in the area.Tina's passion for art, creativity and customer service allowed her business to flourish over 25 years, providing her with personal growth along with the resources to put her sons through the University of Illinois.Family meant everything to Tina.She was a deeply loved, wonderful, close and committed wife to her husband Ray. She put the needs of her family in front of her own because she wanted to provide the greatest opportunities to her children.Tina always instilled the need for maintaining close ties with family, no matter if it was a family trip to see relatives in Wisconsin, an annual birthday gathering, or hanging out together on the weekends.In her free time, Tina enjoyed experimenting with new plants in her garden, cooking new recipes, sewing with her friends at TV Stitch and Bitch, quilting, traveling and perusing art galleries around the world, working out at Advocate Good Shepherd health club, and spending time with her grandchildren.Tina is survived by her husband, Ray Willis; children, Jeff (Tara), Steve (Sharon), and Mark Snow; grandchildren, Anna and Claire Snow; brother, TaeKo (Mi) Han; sister, ChungHwa (Woong) Oh; and many nieces and nephews.Preceding Tina in death are her parents, Kijoo and TaeSoon Han.In lieu of flowers, memorials in Tina's name may be given to the American Cancer Society or Hospice Foundation of Northeastern Illinois, 405 Lake Zurich Rd, Barrington IL 60010.Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 27, 2012 from 3 to 8 p.m. at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main Street, (Lake-Cook Road), Barrington.Interment will be private.
