He spent his entire adult life selling print advertising. Today, in this space, his son writes this advertisement FOR HIM...Want to be less bored? More well-read? Beloved by dogs? Be like Tom. Want to have the passion of poet? The heart of a lion? The courage of your convictions? Be like Tom. Want to have a song in your heart? A spring in your step? Pride in your work? Be like Tom. My dad was a student of history, a lover of books and a man amongst boys. He could dominate any room...but he surrendered himself to God. He was always a Marine and never a coward. He was Irish to the core and a softy at heart. He tried as hard as he could...and loved his family more than is possible. His friends called him "Danger." His wife called him "Tommy." I proudly called him "dad" - and always will.
