On Monday, January 1, 2018 at 3:18pm, Toni passed away peacefully at Lexington Health in Lake Zurich, IL after a 5 year battle with lung cancer. Toni was being comforted by her daughter, Dena Fischer at the time of her passing. Toni was 70 years old.
Toni Fischer was born in the town of Barrington in Lake County, Illinois at 11:53 PM on December 31, 1947. She was the first child, and the only daughter, of Jeanette and William Panker.
Toni was a spunky child, always bringing a smile to those around her. Those who knew her will agree that she never lost her spunk! Toni attended St. Anne Catholic School and graduated from Barrington High School. She studied at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. Toni loved winning at bingo, shopping, bowling, chatting with friends, gambling in Las Vegas, cooking, traveling with her daughter and playing dress up with her granddaughter.
Her daughter Dena said that Toni always knew people everywhere she went. Toni tended bar in Cary and Fox River Grove for 25 years, frequently stating, “I might not know your name but I know what you drink!’ Later, she worked at the OTB of Waukegan.
Toni was preceded in death by her parents, Jeanette Magglos-Panker and William Panker; aunt Betty Magglos-Ott; and life-long friend Barbara ‘Bubba” Feactau.
Toni is survived by her daughter, Dena Maria Fischer; two grandchildren, Giada and Evan Lopez; and brother, Willie Panker Jr.,

Memorial visitation will be Wednesday, January 10, 2018 from 3 PM until the memorial service at 7 PM at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 149 W. Main Street (Lake-Cook Rd) Barrington, IL 60010. Interment will be private.
