Tyler Allen

Tyler Conway Allen, 21, died on Wednesday, June 1st, 2016 of injuries from a car accident in Barrington Hills, Illinois. He leaves behind his parents, John R. and Lisa M. Allen and sister, Caroline H. Allen, as well as a wealth of other relatives and beloved friends.

Tyler was born June 22, 1994 in Richmond, Virginia. His family moved to Barrington in the spring of 1999 when his Father transferred while working for General Electric Auto Finance Corp.

Tyler graduated from Barrington High School in 2012. He attended University of Missouri and more recently, Harper Community College.

Tyler had a zest for life and was an energetic young man. He was personable and had impeccable manners. Tyler took an interest in everyone who crossed his path. He enjoyed playing golf with his parents, relaxing with his sister and spending time with his friends. Tyler enjoyed outdoor sports. He played soccer for years with the Barrington Area Soccer Association.

Tyler is also survived by: Grandmother Jacqueline M. Allen of Barrington and Grandfather James J. Merker of Haverford, Pa.

Memorial Services for Tyler Allen will be held at St Michael’s Episcopal Church in Barrington, Illinois. Visitation will be Monday, June 6th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The service will take place Tuesday, June 7th at 11:00 a.m. The church is located at 647 Dundee Avenue, Barrington, IL 60010.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the Barrington Area Soccer Association at 110 S. Hager Street, Suite 203, Barrington. Illinois. 60010.
