Velda A. Munsterman, 88

Of Barrington

 Born Oct. 8, 1923 in Elgin, she passed away Jan. 2, 2012 in Barrington.

Velda was the beloved wife for 44 years to the late Howard Munsterman, loving mother of Ray (Bev), Ron (Ann), Wayne (Bev), Donna, and Dave (Lisa), dear grandmother of Jim (Jacquelyn), Dan, Phillip, Ellen, John Michael, Rachel, Rebecca, Nathan, and Megan, dear sister of Doris, Marian, and Carolyn.

She was preceded in death by her husband Howard,  parents Albert and Anna Johnson,  and  brothers Kenneth and Lawrence.

Visitation will be 5-8pm Fri. Jan 6 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St, Barrington. Funeral service will be 11am Sat. Jan. 7, with visitation from 10am until the time of the service at Harvest Bible Chapel, 255 Quentin Road, Lake Zurich.  Burial will follow the service at Baker Cemetery , Lily Lake.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, 5005 LBJ Freeway, Suite 250, Dallas, TX 75244.

Visitation will be 5-8pm Friday Jan. 6 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St, Barrington

Funeral service 11am Sat. Jan 7 with visitation from 10am until the time of the service at Harvest Bible Chapel, 255 Quentin Road, Lake Zurich

Burial in Baker Cemetery following the service.
