Verna Reuter

Verna M. Reuter, 84, of Marengo passed away peacefully on November 22, 2015. She was born on January 3, 1931 in Merrill, WI to Edward and Helen (nee Willett) Kleinschmidt.

Verna was an avid gardener and enjoyed doing puzzles. On June 3, 1950 she was united in marriage to Raymond E. Reuter. They celebrated 64 years of marriage until his death in 2014.

Verna will be deeply missed by her loving children, Penny (Rudolph) Stynoski of Hampshire, IL and Randy (Wahita) Reuter of Crystal Lake; 9 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her children, Peggy Stanley, Jerry Ray and David A. Reuter and by her parents.

Memorial visitation will be Monday, November 30, 2015 from 3 PM until the 6:30 PM memorial service at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rte 176), Crystal Lake, IL 60014. Interment will be private.
