Vicenta Rodriguez

Vicenta Rodriguez, 91, of Carpentersville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 17, 2022.  She was born in Zacatecas, Mexico on July 25, 1930, to Manuel Rodriguez and Elena Carranza.

Amazing mother to ten children and beloved grandmother to thirty-five grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Francisco Ortiz and children, Eusebio, Mary, and Cuca.

A visitation will be Monday, February 21, from 4pm until 8pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake.  Mass will be at 11am, Tuesday, February 22, at Church of the Holy Apostles, 5211 Bull Valley Rd. McHenry, with a visitation to begin at 9am.  Burial will follow at Holy Apostles Cemetery.
