Victor Hoffing

The visitation for Victor Hoffing,77, of McHenry, will be held from 4 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 7 p.m., Tuesday, December 27,2011, at the Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St. (Lake-Cook Road), Barrington.  There will be a procession from the funeral home at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 28, going to Woodland Cemetery, on Richmond Road, McHenry for a 12:30 p.m. inurnment.

Born April 21,1934, in Chicago, he passed away Tuesday, December 20,2011, at the Pepper Family Hospice Home, Barrington.

Survivors include his wife, Beverly (nee Hansen), whom he married 57 years ago in Chicago; children, Vicki (Mike) Brennan of Lakemoor, Tricia (Jeff) Ketelsen of Palatine, and Andy (Tammy) Hoffing of Bensenville; grandchildren, Michael and Allison Brennan, Jeffry, Thomas, and Kristopher Ketelsen, and Nicole, Alyssa, Andrew, and Kaitlyn Hoffing; and sister, Lila Krisch.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Fay (nee Lambert) Hoffing; and by sister, Vivian Gats.
