Violet M. (Smid) Vajgert

Violet M. Vajgert passed away peacefully April 20, 2022 in Lake Zurich.  She was born August 21, 1931 in Chicago to George and Lillian Smid.

Violet is survived by her daughter, Melody (Chuck) Wennerberg; grandson, Marc (Joanna) Goldsmith; great grandchildren, Liam and Aiden Goldsmith; sister, Jeannette (late Louis) Larsonneur; and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Vajgert (1984); son, Melvin, and granddaughter, Kelly M. Fitzgerald.

Visitation will be held from 10:30am until 2pm, Tuesday, April 26 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 941 S. Old Rand Road, Lake Zurich.  Burial will be private at Evergreen Cemetery in Evergreen Park.
