Virginia A. Haumann, 69, born August 17, 1943 in Chicago, passed away after a long illness July 10, 2013.
Virginia was known for making people laugh with her many jokes. She loved to read and learn about history specifically the Civil War. Virginia liked to keep busy with puzzle books as well as crocheting. She loved traveling, taking the train to downtown Chicago with family, and being social with friends.
She is survived by her older brother, Raymond; sisters, Janet and Karen; a nephew; two nieces; four great-nephews; two great-nieces; and her beloved canine companion, Honey.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Leonard.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be greatly appreciated.
