Virginia A. Haworth, 78, of Crystal Lake, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2017. She was born on October 3, 1938 in Chicago to George and Leona (nee Kellen) Sinclair.
Virginia enjoyed doing crafts, knitting, crocheting and crosswords. She had a green thumb and enjoyed taking care of her houseplants. Above all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was united in marriage to Edward S. Haworth on May 20, 1961 in Geneva, Illinois. They celebrated 21 years of marriage until his death in 1983.
Virginia is survived by her son, Edward M. (Shelly) Haworth; grandchildren, Aleah, Alannah, Steven, Natasha and Stephanie; and by her brother Dr. Eugene (Jean) Sinclair. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 6, from 9 AM until the 11 AM funeral service at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rte. 176), Crystal Lake, IL 60014. Interment to follow at Crystal Lake Memorial Park, Crystal Lake.
