Walter Birk Jr

Walter "Wally" M. Birk Jr. of Mesquite, Texas and formerly of Chicago, passed away Friday April 23, 2010 at Baylor Medical Center, Dallas after a courageous battle with esophageal cancer. Wally was born September 8 1959 in Evanston Illinois. Beloved husband and soul mate of Sherry Birk Nee Terraina. Most loving father of Stephen Joseph (Alison), Samantha Nicole, and Jeffrey Alan. Best ever grandpa to Christopher Joseph. Loving son of the Late Walter M. and Kathleen C. ( and Judy Terracina Kelleher) Birk Sr. Beloved Brother of Rose (Bill) Showalter-Patterson,Kathy and the late Tom Thomas and John (Rose) Birk Sr. Loving son in-law to Judith M. (Bucholtz) and the late Joseph Robert Terracina. Beloved brother in-law to Felicia Hardt (Terracina) Bob (Renee) Terracina. Cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was a dedicated employee of Benjamin Moore Paints for over 30 years and will be dearly missed by all his life long friends and co workers. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
