Walter Siekerman

Born April 16, 1930 in Chicago, passed away peacefully January 14, 2015 at JourneyCare Hospice in Barrington, surrounded by his loving family.

Walter is survived by his wife of nearly 20 years, Kay Warman Siekerman, children; Lee, Garth, and Curtis Siekerman, step-children; Scott (Lorna), Bruce (late Sally), Glenn (Linda), Craig (Betty), Kathy, Blair (Sharon) Warman, and Karen (Ret. Col.Curt) Higdon, 23 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and sister Susan Siekerman. He was preceded in death by his parents Bernice and Walter Siekerman, two sisters, granddaughter Tarra Lynn, and grandson Trent.

Visitation will be held from 3-9pm Friday, January 16 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 W. Main St, Barrington. Funeral service will be at 11am, Saturday, January 17 at the Village Church of Barrington, 1600 E. Main St. (Lake- Cook Road), Barrington. There will be visitation at the church from 10am until the time of the service. Interment will be private.
