Wayne Keller

Wayne Keller, age 74, of Crystal Lake, passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2022. Wayne was born on July 30, 1948 in Grinnell, IA. He loved his childhood growing up in the small town of Brooklyn, Iowa.  He worked at the Kmart Corporation for thirty-seven years. He enjoyed fishing, pheasant hunting, and time spent at his lake home.  Wayne’s greatest joy in life was his family.

Wayne is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Therese (nee Frangella); his loving daughters, Christy (Kurt) Tenopir, Julie (Don) Techen, and Carey (Ryan) Noonan; cherished grandchildren, Jameson, Dylan, and Ty Tenopir, Zach, Kellen, and Quinn Techen, and Brecken and Easton Noonan; sister, Kay (Steve) Maurer; and sister-in-law, Judy Keller.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Ruby Keller; and brother, Ken Keller.

A visitation for Wayne will be on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 from 9am until the time of service at 11am at The Church of Holy Apostles, 5211 Bull Valley Rd, McHenry, IL 60050. Burial will be held privately after the service for immediate family only.
