Wayne F. Singer, 66, of Crystal Lake passed away Sunday, March 25, 2012.
He was born February 5, 1946 in Chicago to Frank and Sylvia (nee Stello). Wayne married Irene (nee Krawczyk) on June 11, 1966 in Chicago.
Wayne worked many years in the printing industry. He cherished time with his family, he was an avid outdoors man; he loved hunting, fishing, camping and spending time at his property in Hayward, Wisconsin.
Wayne is survived by his wife of 45 years, Irene, of Crystal Lake; his daughters Kim (John) Zaharias of Prairie Grove, Lisa (Tom) Gilmore of Woodstock and Kari (Mark Maioni) Singer of Crystal Lake; 6 grandchildren, Karsen, Katie, Constantine, Nicholas, Gracelyn and Matthew; his sister, Bernadette; his brothers, Neil, Scott, Robin, Gary (Linda), Robert (Linda) and Randall; numerous nieces and nephews and his mother-in-law, Salomea Swierzewicz.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his step-parents and his father-in-law.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 28 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave. (Rte 176), Crystal Lake. Visitation will continue from 10-11 a.m., Thursday, March 29 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1023 S. McHenry Ave., Crystal Lake with a Funeral Mass to be held at 11 a.m. Interment will follow Mass at Crystal Lake Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Building Fund or to Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Rd, Ste 300, Jacksonville FL 32256.
