Wilda Shafer Lincoln

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Wilda Lincoln, 88, of Cedar Lake in Lake Zurich, IL. 

She goes to meet her loving husband, Charles Lincoln, who passed away in 2006; parents, William and Elma Smithyman; sister, Betty Jane (Bebe), and brother-in-law, Jake Gallagher; and brother, John Edward Smithyman.

She will be remembered with great love by son, Robert Love, and his wife, Collette, and her grandchildren, Benjamin, Daniel and Katherine; and by her son, Mark Love, and his wife, Trish, and their children, Shelby and Jake.

Wilda graduated from Temple University while raising her family and was an executive secretary at McNeil Pharmaceutical, Johnson and Johnson.

She was fierce and loving, meticulous, and so very stylish.

Wilda inspired affection in those around her. We would like to acknowledge with warm gratitude all the caregivers who saw her through her long illnesses.

A private family memorial is planned at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory in Lake Zurich, IL.
