Willemina Gadomski
August 2, 1941 — March 19, 2016
Willemina (Willy) Gadomski, 74, of Cary, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 19, 2016.
She was born August 2, 1941 in Arnhem, the Netherlands to Franciscus M. Abbenhuis and Hendrika Evers.
She met the love of her life, Edward, while he was stationed in Holland with the U.S. Air Force. Lovestricken, she left everything behind to settle down and form a family in New Jersey. She was a dedicated wife and mother her whole life. She moved to Cary, Illinois, after the passing of her husband where she cherished seeing her two granddaughters, who were her world, grow up.
Willemina is survived by her children, Michelle (Enrique) Vasquez, Edward (Sara) Gadomski; her granddaughters, Angelica and Alessandra; brother, Frans Abbenhuis; and sister, Ida Liplijn, both from the Netherlands.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward J. Gadomski and parents.
