William Albin Anderson, 89
of Barrington
Born July 22, 1925 in Rockford, passed away April 12, 2015 at Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington.
William was a retired partner of Ernst and Young, served on the board of trustees for the Fourth Presbyterian Church of Chicago, was active with the University of Illinois (Champaign) Alumni Association and was named a Distinguished Member of the Illinois CPA Society.
He is survived by his daughter Kathie (Robert) Dye, grandson Jeffrey, brother John B. Anderson, nieces Joyce Olson, Vangie Spoolman, Eleanora VanderWal, Diane Anderson, Karen Moree, and Susan Freibert, and nephew John B. Anderson, Jr.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Marilyn, parents Albin and Mabel Anderson, and sister Helen Wernberg.
Services for William are private.
