William Campbell

Barrington Hills, Illinois,William Henry Campbell, 90 passed away peacefully on Sunday October 3rd, 2010 at his home in Barrington Hills where he was a resident for the past 35 years. A memorial service will be held at 11am (with visitation starting at 10am) on Saturday, October 16th at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 1190 N. Hicks Rd, Palatine, Illinois 60067. Bill had a successful 31 year career with Lutheran Brotherhood where he was the number one salesman nationally for several years. A life-long Lutheran, and active member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Palatine, Bill was a man of many interests: history, Sherlock Holmes, travel, graphic arts and leading small group Bible studies to name a few. An anglophile to the core, Bill founded and served as past president of the Britannia Club of Barrington. Bill is survived by his wife Charlotte, his daughters Gayle (Gary) Nelson, Beth (Paul) Nielsen and his son Douglas Campbell; his grandchildren Eric, Marc and Erin
