William Cwik

William S. Cwik, 70 of Crystal Lake was born August 6, 1941 in Chicago and passed away February 23, 2012 at Pepper Family Hospice in Barrington surrounded by his family.

William served in the Navy from 1965 to 1967. He was an optician for over twenty years, retiring in 1995.

William was an avid bowler who enjoyed dinners out and spending time with his grandchildren. Bill lived life to the fullest regardless of his loss of vision.

William is survived by his children, Sharon (Scott) Kulovsek, Sandra (Jack) Little, and Mark (Dee) Lucas; grandchildren, Mary Beth Krause, Andrea (Drake) Cody, Eric Krause, Ryan (Fawn) Little, Justin Kulovsek, Kasey (Steve) Wiskin, Samantha Lucas, Spencer Lucas, and Pvt. Dayton Lucas;l five great-grandchildren; and his brother John (Joy) Cwik.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 18 years, Elaine (nee Gurke) and his sister Mary Sorrentino.

Visitation will be from 3pm until the time of the funeral service at 7pm Sunday February 26 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave (IL Rt 176), Crystal Lake. Interment will be private.
