William "Bill" J. Dimmick, 47, of Crystal Lake passed away suddenly Thursday, July 15, 2010 at home. He was born in Pasadena, California on October 9, 1962 to Floyd and Patricia (nee Lower) Dimmick. On July 3, 1988 he married the love of his life, Debby Silvers, in Barrington. He was a well respected man with love for all friends and family. He enjoyed spending time restoring classic cars and riding his Harley and Indian motorcycles. Every fall he took a two week hunting trip to Northern Wisconsin with his closest friends. He was successful in business and was part owner of a nationally recognized epoxy manufacturing company. He is survived by, his wife; his two daughters, Brynna Silvers, and Tori Dimmick; his parents; two sisters, Lori (Phil) Smanski, April (Eric) Vanae; two brothers, John and Floyd Dimmick Jr. and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 20 2010 from 9 a.m. until the 11 a.m. service at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave. (Rt. 176), Crystal Lake. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Bill's name may be sent to the American Heart Association, 3816 Paysphere Circle, Chicago, IL 60674.
