William “Bill” Eaton, age 71, of Cary, passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2014 in Barrington. He was born December 11, 1942 in Chicago to Frank and Lucille Eaton. Bill married Marcia Beard of Milford, Connecticut on April 1, 1966.
Bill will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 47 years, Marcia; children, Donald, and Kimberly (Chip) Stohl; grandson, Matthew Eaton; sister, Patricia Nolte; brothers, Robert (Linda) Eaton, and Frank (Dorothy) Eaton; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Bobbi Swerdlow; brother-in-law, Leon “Red” Nolte; and niece, Patricia Peterson-Herter.
A memorial visitation for Bill will take place on Sunday, January 26, 2014 from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. at which time there will be a brief memorial service at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake, IL 60014.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Matthew Eaton’s Eagle Scout Project through Harris Bank of Cary, 122 W Main St, Cary.
