William Thomas Kusmerz

William "Bill" T. Kusmerz, 57, of Wonder Lake, IL passed away suddenly at home on March 1, 2019.

Bill was born on April 14, 1961 in Chicago, IL to the late Robert P. Kusmerz and Ellen Sandkam.  He is preceded in death by his father, Robert P. Kusmerz; his fiancé, Cindy Martin; and aunts and uncles.

He attended Barrington High School where he was part of the football team. His high school friends will fondly remember him as a fun loving person who was well liked and did well in sports.

He spent his career working with his father and brother in the family owned landscaping business helping to build a successful well respected business which he loved.

He loved motorcycles, dirt bike riding, and fishing, snowmobiling, gardening, tending to his hand crafted pond in his back yard, and spending time with his family. As a kid he had a love of horses and was overjoyed when he was able to have one of his own. Timmy was his beloved 16 hand quarter horse that he enjoyed taking care of. Later in life during the off season he worked at Bill Becker's horse farm in Wauconda, IL.

Bill will be deeply missed by his loving mother, Ellen; stepfather, Greg; brother, Bob; sister, Lisa (Richard); nieces and nephews, Danielle (Robbie), Kyle, Christopher, Sarah and Richard, Jr.; and great nephews, Justin and Tyler; the family of Cindy Martin; daughters, Tammy Bustos; sons, Paulie and Nicholas; and Sherry Meyer and family.

Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Visitation for Bill at Davenport Funeral Home in Barrington IL on Sunday, March 10, 2019 starting at 1:00 pm, a prayer service and goodbyes will begin at 4:30 pm.
