William Sudbrook

William “Bill” R. Sudbrook, 82, of Crystal Lake was born May 9, 1930 in Kansas City, Missouri and passed away Sunday, March 11, 2012 in Elgin.
Bill was an avid tennis player. He enjoyed traveling with his wife; they traveled the world for their honeymoon and, more recently, traveled to Paris. Bill cherished the time he spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Bill was the beloved husband of Lucie (nee Andrle), whom he married June 19, 1965; loving father of Lissa (Fred) Brandel, Jennifer Barrick, and William Jr. (Donna) Sudbrook; and dear grandfather of Drew Morgan, Jaimie, Kaylie, Teagan, Will, Julia, Lizzy, and Jon.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Marie (nee Inveldt) Sudbrook
Visitation will be 4-8 pm Wednesday, March 14 at Davenport Family Funeral Home, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake. Prayers will be at 9:15am Thursday, March 15 at the funeral home followed by 10am mass at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 451 W. Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake. Interment in Crystal Lake Memorial Park will follow mass.
