William “Bill” C. Brobst, 76, of Hoffman Estates passed away peacefully at home on February 24, 2020. He was born on February 5, 1944 in Chicago to the late William and Juanita Brobst.
Bill was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving in the 101st Airborne during the Vietnam War. He was united marriage to Leslie Voth in 1971 in Evanston, IL. He was the director of Nutritional Services for St. Elizabeth and St. Mary Hospitals in Chicago and also for Brandell at Covenant Village. He was an active member in his church, loved riding his motorcycle and enjoyed doing ceramics. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandkids.
In addition to his loving wife, Bill is survived by his children, David (Ruth)Brobst, Michael Brobst, Rebecca (Joshua) Rogers; grandchildren, Rachel, Jeremy, Noah, Charlotte, Finnegan and Brennan; his sister, Joan Branci.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and by his brother and sister.
Funeral Service will be Thursday, February 27, at 11 AM until at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 1190 N. Hicks Rd., Palatine. A visitation will be from 9:30 AM until the time of service at the church. Interment will be at Concordia Cemetery, Forest Park. Please meet at the cemetery office by 2:30 PM.
