William (Bill) Wayne Dunnam, Jr., 81, of North Barrington, Illinois passed away peacefully on April 21, 2022.
A native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Bill graduated from Baton Rouge High School and went on to study music and business at Louisiana State University (LSU). He continued his studies in Finance and Marketing at Newport University and went on to have a long and successful career in business. He remained a dedicated LSU Tiger fan his whole life.
Bill enjoyed a lifetime of writing and performing music. He was a talented pianist and guitarist but could play almost any instrument he came across. He was most proud of the talented artists and bands he performed and collaborated with over the years and developed many cherished friendships in the music industry. In his later years, he brought smiles to the faces of many residents in assisted living homes through his musical performances. One of his greatest joys in life was making people happy through his music.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, William (Wayne) Wayne Dunnam, Sr. and Dozie Dunnam, both of Baton Rouge. He is survived by his four children, Leslie Romero, William (Katie) Dunnam, Christine (Tim) Dykema, and Ashley (Justin) Landeck. He is survived by his grandchildren Christopher, Tyler and Lindsey Romero, Luke Dunnam and Livia Landeck, and a great grandchild Calum. He is also survived by his brother Thomas Coleman Dunnam and sister Margaret Tyler, both of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and sister Elizabeth Van de Putte, of Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan.
