Zenaida Simon

Zenaida Cabellon Simon passed away peacefully on November 13, 2014 at the age of 73.

She was born in Cebu, Philippines to Filomeno Cabellon and Carmen Pardinan at the onset of World War II. She met her loving husband of 48 years, Ruben Simon in Punta Princesa, Cebu. Zenaida practiced 19 years of Dentistry in the Philippines. She set aside her thriving career to come to United States with the vision of giving her children a better future. She was passionate in growing plants and most especially with orchids. Zenaida is survived by her husband; her four children, Alfonso, Neil, July and Rosalind; and her grandchildren, Meghan, Ethan, Morgan, Ashley, Bradley and Abigail.

Visitation will be held Sunday, November 16th from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E. Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake, IL 60014. Final viewing will be held Tuesday, November 18th at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by procession to St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 451 W. Terra Cotta Avenue, Crystal Lake, IL 60014 for the funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m.
Inurnment will be private.
