David A. Donnelly

David Allen Donnelly, 63, of Crystal Lake, passed away due to natural causes unrelated to Covid-19 on January 16, 2021.

He was born September 19, 1957 in Elgin, the son of the late Richard and Arlene Donnelly.

David was very involved with First Congregational Church of Crystal Lake in several committees, most recently a Stephen Minister and coordinator of the usher committee. He was also involved with the Crystal Lake Jaycees.

David is survived by his brothers, Gary (Laura) Donnelly of Clarks Mills, PA and Bob Donnelly of Crystal Lake; nephews, Richard and Gary; nieces, Amy and Katie; his grand-nieces and grand-nephews; ex-wife, Cheryl; and stepdaughters, Kelly and Kirsten.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Richard.

A celebration of David’s life will be held at a later date.
