Edward J. Kroll

Edward J. Kroll, 88, of Lake Barrington, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2020.

Edward was born on August 23, 1932 in Chicago, to John and Eleanor Kroll. He was married to Dorothy Bolz for 63 years. Edward served in the US Army in Korea. He was employed at Amoco Oil.

Edward is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy; his children, Dennis of Crystal Lake and Robert (Jeannine) of Island Lake; and grandchildren, Jeremy and Lexie.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Henry, Ray, Irene, John, and Walter.

Visitation will be held Sunday, January 3, 2021 from 4-8 p.m. at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave (Rt. 176) Crystal Lake. The funeral service will be held Monday, January 4th at 11 a.m. with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Windridge Memorial Park, Cary.
