Hannah Marie Sorenson, the forever child of Jeremy and Sashire (Sorenson) Ayares, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at the age of 27. She was born April 8, 1995 in Elgin.
Hannah was given a life expectancy of about three years. She baffled doctors and medical personnel her whole life. Hannah was a miracle and had the attitude of a firecracker, to say the least!
Along with her parents, Hannah will be greatly missed by her brothers, Logan Sorenson, Aiden Ayares, and Arlo Ayares; maternal grandparents, Catherine (Cat) Sorenson and Geoff Odean; paternal grandparents, Jay and Jill Ayares; great- grandfather, William “Bill” Odean; uncles and aunts, Ian (Jennifer) Sorenson, Joe (Nichole) Salvaggio, Jenna Ayares, and Josh (Wyndy) Ayares; cousins, Seneca and Nyah Ayares, Leo and Niko Salvaggio, and Fletcher Sorenson; and great-aunts and uncles, Bryan and Holly (Odean) Carpenter, and Dave and Terri Ayares.
Hannah was also loved and cherished by an extensive extended family that will forever hold her in their hearts.
She was proceeded in death by her great-grandparents, Joseph and Betty Ayares, Jenette Odean, and Arlene (Sorenson) Duarte.
A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, May 21, from 9am until a service at 10:30am at Bethany Lutheran Church, 76 West Crystal Lake Ave., Crystal Lake. Light refreshments will follow in the fellowship hall.
