Janice M. Huber

Janice M. Huber, 75, of Barrington, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on December 23, 2020. She was born on February 11, 1945 in Assiniboia, Saskatchewan, Canada to Stanley and Olive Chekay.

Janice enjoyed cooking and entertaining, welcoming all into her home. She loved to fish and watch hockey, and was happiest when her kitchen was filled with friends and family.

Janice will be deeply missed by her children, Monte (Aggie) Huber, Devin (Amy) Huber, Kyla (Patrick) Marabella, grandchildren, Johnny, Nicholas, Elena and Jack; siblings, Ken (Gladys Altwasser) Chekay, Joan (Edwin) Eberle, Doug (Darlene) Chekay; brothers and sisters-in- law, Albert Huber, Magdalen Dagenais, Bernard (Gail) Huber,  Elizabeth (Dennis) Dauvin, Margaret (Ted) Polanik, Barry (Marilyn) Dagenais and numerous nieces and nephews.

Janice was preceded in death by her loving husband of 39 years, John U. Huber in 2010; her parents; her father and mother-in-law, John and Anna Huber; brother and sisters-in-law, Russel Dagenais, Louise Chekay and Annette Huber.

Services and interment will be private.
