Jason William Bruno

Jason William Bruno, 48, of Crystal Lake, Illinois passed away suddenly Saturday, May 6, 2023. He was born October 8, 1974, in Chicago Illinois to William V. and Donna M. Bruno.

Jason was a follower of Jesus, a beloved husband, a loving father, a supportive brother, a wonderful son, and a close friend to many. Jason was a musician and a teacher. He played piano and saxophone and taught many private students over the years. He loved making music with his wife and friends and recording that music. Jason also loved listening to and discovering new music, golfing, camping, fishing, playing darts, playing pool, and being outdoors. Jason also adored Star Wars and David Bowie. Jason was always in service to his loved ones, helping in any way he could. Jason used his skills in fixing just about anything to always help others. Jason was vibrant, funny, intelligent, compassionate, self-sacrificing, and so much more. Jason was truly a unique one of a kind gem of a soul. He joined the Lord and his mom in heaven on the anniversary of her death. Jason will be desperately missed here on this earth, but there is joy in heaven for his arrival.

Jason is survived by his wife; Lisa Bruno; children, Eli Bruno and Nicholas Bruno; father, William V. Bruno; brother, Anthony Bruno; and many other beloved friends and family. He is preceded in death by his mother; Donna M. Bruno.

Visitation for Jason will be held Monday, May 15, 2023 at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory 419 E Terra Cotta Avenue, Crystal Lake, IL from 10am till the time of prayer service at 12:30pm. Burial will follow at Windridge Memorial Park, Cary, IL.
