John F. McCauley

John F. McCauley, 89, of Lake Zurich passed away peacefully on August 1, 2020. He was born on March 6, 1931 in Chicago, IL to the late Bernard and Kathleen McCauley.

John was a proud veteran of the United States Army. On September 3, 1955 he was united in marriage to Sally, nee Haske at Holy Name Cathedral in Chicago. He made his career in sales, which allowed him to travel extensively. He also was an avid golfer.

In addition to his loving wife; John will be deeply missed by his loving daughters, Patti (Jay) Nordstrom and Kerri McCauley; grandchildren, Will, Layne and Donnobhan. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Bernie, Mary, Kathleen and Rosie.

Visitation will be Friday, August 7, 2020 at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 941 S. Old Rand Rd., Lake Zurich, IL 60047 from 12:30 PM until time of prayers at 1:15 PM before processing to St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 33 S. Buesching Rd., Lake Zurich, IL 60047 for his Mass at 1:30pm. Interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
