Robert "Bob" Helmboldt

Robert "Bob" Helmboldt, 63, of Lake Zurich, IL passed away June 27th, 2022. Bob was the proud father of Andrea Helmboldt and Alexa (Jonathan) Terry; beloved son to Chuck and Ellie Helmboldt; dear brother of Karen (Robert) Zahn and Nancy (Jim) Michael; and a fun, loving Uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Daniel Helmboldt.

Raised in Rolling Meadows, Bob graduated from Rolling Meadows High School and went on to attend SIU.  After college Bob began his career as a General Contractor following in his Fathers footsteps.

Bob loved to spend time with his daughters at the beach or just walking with his dogs. He shared his love of the Cubs with Alexa and enjoyed going to games together at Wrigley Field. He enjoyed his Saturday golf buddies and made many lasting memories with them. Bob was very generous with his time and was always willing to help people with odd jobs, lending great ideas, and usually had what was needed in his garage!

Bob was always good for a laugh. Those who knew him will easily be able to remember a fun story about his wit and humor, or antic he would do to make people laugh. We look forward to sharing those memories with you all.

A celebration Of Life will be held on Saturday November 5, 2022 at Buffalo Grove Golf Club, 48 Raupp Blvd., Buffalo Grove, IL 60089,  from 11:30am until 2pm, light refreshments will be served.

Bob was loved by many and will be missed by all.
