Because Davenport Family Funeral Home is committed to helping those in need create meaningful services, families are provided with options so that informed decisions can be made. Assistance is provided in planning the service, choosing music, clothing, flowers, and any other essentials needed.
A variety of funeral service packages are available to suit each family's personal needs and budget.
We will always commit ourselves to keeping our prices competitive, if not lower, than funeral homes in the northwest suburban area. Because it is our privilege to serve families, we will always honor lower prices if found elsewhere.
We have established the following uniform payment policy. This payment policy enables us to keep the cost down for all families we serve, as well as treat everyone fairly. Payment in full is expected upon service. At the end of the arrangement conference, you will be presented with a contract itemizing the goods and services that you requested. For your convenience the following payment methods are accepted:
- Cash or Check Payments
- Credit Card Payments - We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover credit cards. If you choose to pay with a credit card, a charge of 3% will be added to the total balance being charged
- Life Insurance Policies - If you choose to use a life insurance policy, there is an administrative processing fee of 2.5% of the total invoice that will be added to the final charge on your statement of funeral goods and services. The minumum fee charged for the processing of life insurace policies is $150. We do not accept insurance policies that cannot be verified. Insurance policies under 2 years old are usually contestable and therefore cannot be used as a form of of payment.
- Prearranged Funeral Plans - We accept and welcome all prearranged funeral policies. Please call any of our three funeral homes for additional information.
It is our policy to provide first-class service to everyone. We respect the dignity of those we serve and ask that if you are dealing with limited funds, please do not hesitate to tell us of your circumstances and we will tailor a service to fit your budget. We will never compromise a dignified funeral service as we are able to offer alternatives and options for any situation.
